Around the Naval Education & Training Command - Zambales

Can a retreat be complete without a walk and an opportunity to shoot flowers, people and the area in general?  All these capped my recent Military Ministry retreat at the Naval Education and Training Command in San Antonio, Zambales.  Praise the Lord for the rest and the pure joy of small things like small flowers and big things like one's Christian family.

I just love this!  The reward of an early morning walk

The walk wouldn't be complete without the wife, of course

With one enlisted personnel who is desiring to be a chaplain and a young academy graduate burdened to start a military fellowship at the training center.  Completing the photo with me are two lovely women - the dear wife of our Military Ministry leader and my wife

One of the many beautifully designed officers' quarters appropriately called "Spider Houses".  Un-renovated units around the camp can easily be identified with their old, yellow exterior paint.
The NETC used to be an American communications center.  This is another one of the spacious and beautiful legacies of American presence in the Philippines

Yes, go Navy!  "By 2020 we shall be a strong and credible Navy our maritime nation can be proud of."  -- a goal that can best be obtained through the leadership of Christ-committed and God-dependent Military officers and personnel.  So join us as we pray and partner with our Christian military officers.
