Marcus Douthit for FIBA 2014 in Spain

Marcus Douthit still expressed support for the Gilas Team via Twitter despite news of efforts to naturalize Javale McGee and Andray Blatche.

Douthit deserves priority Center position.  He SHOULD play for the Philippines in Spain.  He and the current roster of players brought us back to the world basketball stage.

As some commented in this Yahoo! Sports article, naturalize McGee or Blatche if we have to but Douthit has  already proven not only his skills but also his heart.   May we also prove our gratitude in true Filipino utang na loob spirit.
